• His father is a guitar teacher and jazz musician, and greatly influenced his musical style
• He was named after Ludwig van Beethoven
• His first musical instrument was the guitar
• Ludwig Goransson’s musical role models were composers John Williams and Danny Elfman.
• Graduated from the Stockholm Royal College of Music
• He moved to Los Angeles to study at the University of Southern California in 2007, where he met filmaker Ryan Coogler.
