• Aurora Aksnes, known as AURORA, was born in Stavanger, Norway in 1996.
• Began creating music as young as 6 years old, when she found an old keyboard in the attic of her childhood home.
• Started writing songs at the age of 10, she wrote her first major hit “Runaway” (released in 2015) when she was 12 years old.
• Her song lyrics explore feminism, LGBTQ+ rights, environmental issues, and mental health issues.
