The Musician of the Month Project originated in the Somerville (MA) Public Schools under the supervision of Richard G. Saunders, former Music Director with additional leadership from Adam McLean. The editorial advisory group currently includes Len Langrick, Brynna LePique, Adam McLean, Kristin Stier, and Cathy Ward. A 2019-2020 Boston University Consortium Grant supported the expansion of the curriculum and the launching of this website. Tawnya Smith, Assistant Professor of Music Education at Boston University, provided valuable advice and feedback to us throughout our process. Will Houchin created the graphics and created the first version of the website.
